@MrX: Yes, 24 hours, give or take a few. It was a rush to reach the end. Sorry for the maze being so tiresome. I tried to add a few small landmarks to help, and there is the map in your key items (though whether it really helps much or not is another thing altogether). I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed the humour, though. ^.^

@Tsumeshi: Hopefully you enjoy it. I'm looking forward to hearing if you did or not. ^.^

@relativitrees: Unfortunately, the town isn't accessible until the end. It's to give the illusion of a journey still ongoing, but also because I ran out of time (this was made on the last day of the contest so I only had a small amount of time to polish and wrap it up.)

I'm really happy to hear you enjoyed it so much and that it helped you survive the boredom of summer classes. ^.^

Thanks for trying it out, though. I'm always happy to hear opinions and thoughts about it - it helps me with the creation of more games to known what is enjoyed and what isn't. (Like large mazes ^.^; )

This was really good. But after about 30 mins of trying to do that little bugger of a maze, I've given up. But the ride was fun, especially the humour.

Just make the maze easier, also it doesn't help when you take 5 steps and monsters (which are impossible to run away from D:< ) appear.

I've been away a while but...

well, the monster rates vary a lot for some reason. I set them to pretty high rates, but for some people they're really often and for others they had maybe one or two encounters. I might go back and create custom enemy randomisation one of these days. Glad to hear you enjoyed the humour, though.

Probably wouldn't go astray with adding a minimap either, right? >.<;

I want a sequel of this thing, it was short and simple but very enjoyable.

Never understimate the true power of the RTP.

Well now, it's been a while. I thought the next time I posted in this topic would be to announce the next game in the series but I've since gone back and worked Dragon into a bit better shape. So, bugs are now eliminated, battles are a tad harder in some parts, but come at you less often (yay for custom encounter systems!), there's a few more scenes, some general fixes to cutscenes (no more cutscene jumping!), some scripts (faster walk speed/no dash and different font) as well as some general bug fixes. This should be the complete version.

(The only thing I didn't get around to doing was the map, but I did lighten the overlay so that you can see more of the map around you. Also, music changes.)

So, yeah, new demo incoming!

Changes so far are nice.
 

Bugs:
- I spotted the freakin annoying box text error in the custom font you're using, check the description of the map item ingame or the Status page of the characters (or some skills).- There's also another mistake when Dell prays toward the Dragon's statue, she goes through it and gets her head cut, to not count the mess that happens with the followers when she returns to her position, look:


You already know how much I hate that labyrinth without a visible minimap but it's ok, I already know the game so I didn't have issues with it.

The Achievement thing was pretty cool.

2 - She is supposed to 'step' on it to put the eye in, though I had meant to make her above layer to put her over the statue. ^.^; The actual followers is fine - I made it so that they'd regroup because otherwise they followed her walking and would step up on the statue too.

Oh it's supposed to work this way then, I say this because it looked a bit odd at first with the followers movement, ok.

I just realized that I made a typo with her name in my post, I don't know why but I wrote Dell's name as "Deer", I just fused Seer + Deel = Deer...if you fuse also the other letters you get the word Seel...maybe you can make a silly pun about that...ahahah

Anyway, good luck for the sequel.
