Not too long ago I had posted this to the RMVX ace forums, but it seems to have been lost in the fray. Anyways, I still would like to know what people think of these tiles. I definitely have gotten much better since I've started working on these, and I'm even working on a new tileset for my latest game. I hope they're somewhat useful to someone who is working on a LoZ-style game, at least as a placeholder or for some inspiration. To me they're practically garbage, so do what you want with them lol.

Hey! So, a few months ago I was working on a Legend of Zelda styled prototype game, but I promptly lost interest once my father passed away. I plan on reformatting my computer today, and I figured I should not let my hard work go to waste. I know it's not Fantastic per se, and I know that there is little to no compatibility with other tilesets, but whatever. I hope somebody can find a use for these tiles. Later I plan on remaking them using the experience I've gained, and fixing the odd perspective. Enjoy!
I tagged the files with their corresponding letters. Please keep in mind that this tile-set is completely unfinished, and for a complete set of tiles you must modify the tileset yourself. In the distant future I plan on creating a tileset that has a single color pallette with proportional objects and a more logical perspective. If you like this though, I'd love to hear it! If not, I would love to hear some constructive criticism.

I did not use every single tile in the tilesets for the screencaps, I'm just a little short on time haha.

These are nice! The perspective reminds me of the perspective used in the 3d games (specifically Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks). I would love to use these at some point, and I will keep an eye out for your remakes!

Thanks, haha. I really appreciate it. I'm not working on the bird's eye perspective tileset yet though, my game currently is using a generic perspective at the moment; But the colors are much more uniform, and a bit more pleasant to look at :p

Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
