Sorry for the long title, even I am confused when reading it again...

I'm using SES Dynamic Time, which can be found here:

http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/6589-ses-dynamic-time/

What I want to do is:

After I choose to send a message, I will receive a reply 2 hours (time in game) after I sent it.

How to do this? I've tried out several things but all in vain...

Thank you for all your help.

You could opt to just run a parallel process common event that waits 1 frame an increases a variable each time, then if it reaches 2 hours (which would be 60FPS*60SecPerMin*60MinPerHour*2), send the reply.

I have thought of using frame, really, but there is one problem.

There is this add-on script of Solistra that I really like, the wait system (You can found it here: http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=pvWVx5i4)

When I'm using frames to send the messages, even though the player chooses to wait two times (the hour passed by 1 hour every time you wait), the reply isn't received because the frame has not really changed.

Unknown Paste... The wait system would need to be tied up to whatever time system ur using, else it will surely cause problems. :)

If it is, then you could just set the current time to a variable, then run a parallel process common event which then checks for the time difference between the one saved in the variable and the current time.

So like, when you send the message:

Script call: $game_variables[iD] = $game_system.time.[:hour]

Turn Switch[iD] ON

Then on the parallel process event (which uses the switch as it's condition to run)

Code:
Wait(1)Conditional Branch: $game_variables[ID] - $game_system.time.[:hour] >= 2  Send reply  Turn Switch[ID] OFFElseEnd

I edited my last post to show an example on how to do it with Solistra's Time system. Hopefully it works even with the Wait system given that they are both from Solistra.

I get this error instead...

unexpected '['

$game_Variables[99] = $game_system.time.[:hour]

You capitalized the V in Variables... it should all be lowercase

Ah, it should be $game_system.time.hour

Got past that error, but encounter this new error again.

Code:
Script 'Game_Interpreter' line 450: NameError occured.
undefined local variable or method 'game_system' for #<Game_Interpreter:0xb0c18d0>

It worked fine, actually, the first time.

However, I tried it again without changing anything then I don't receive any message even if several hours have passed.

Sorry to be such a bother...
