Set Move Route Cutscene seems too choppy

I've been trying to make a cutscene where a character walks through this one village except when he walks, it appears too choppy by having the character stop for a split second after making its move in the event.  Can somebody help with this?

This here is the autorun event of the cutscene, showing that the only things I do are change the speed and the movement. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I'm willing to bet it's something with a script.

Turn up the "Frequency" to normal and it'll be less choppy.


(If you can't find it, it's the dropdown next to Freq:)

That's what speed 3 frequency 3 does. Increase the frequency to 5 and it should be a steady walk. If not, check for parallel processes.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
