@nyallwynn I do not take requests, but I do listen to suggestions. They don't always make it but I'll at least consider any ideas. Anyway, glad you like my battlers ;)

Fair enough! I was perusing around for a good bat battler in your style, so if you ever happened to get tickled to make one... <3 But seriously, your art is fantastic, very nicely made!

I need to redownload your battlemouse-hedgehog, but when I go to your wordpress and click on that battler it takes me to a page that only has the download for the dragonbones battler. The section headed 'animated battler' is blank. The original post in this thread now appears to have only a gif.

Could you direct me to the page where I could get this?
Thank you.

Used to be seen as a menace in the way they'd rob the orbs off mystics and oracles alike, often interfering in a divine reading, these beetles are now seen in a different light.

Almost like reading the stars, many mystics and oracles now take to observing the peculiar roundabout flight patterns of the 'Scry Beetle' as there ways of perceiving destiny. Oddly enough this practice has been found to be more accurate than a more traditional reading. It's almost as if these bugs themselves are being influenced by the divining energies of their orbs.

However one thinks of this bizarre act of divination, there is one fact all can acknowledge, any who attempt to pry an orb from the grasp of a Scry Beetle will be met with an extreme act of relentless aggression that persists even after leaving their sight. Its as if they know even where you live, able to locate your position to pinpoint accuracy with merciless vengeance.

One year has ended and a new one begins.

To start things off a new breed of Ant Knight born in cyberspace has emerged. A mighty digital warrior that defends against unwanted invasion. After all nothing makes for a better antivirus than a sentient humanoid ant, I think.

A unique stain of mushroom that mimics the form of a petite princess, emulating the concept of a 'damsel in distress' to draw wandering adventurers near.

They are not strictly a harmful species, seeking only the warmth of companionship, however as mushrooms their concept of time is not like that of our own. To add to matters they have a habit of being extremely clingy should their companions attempt to leave.

I like your creative designs and all the stories you attatch to them, do you have a project you are using them in or do you just enjoy making resources?

No project. That was the original reason I started to make battlers but I found that I just enjoyed making the resources and sharing them more than using them myself.

The stories are mostly me having a little bit of fun with the final designs.

Creatures tied to the powers of nature. Whereas some are as one with nature, it is all that not unusual to find those that are attuned to magical stones and crystals.

As creatures found in habitats lush in magical energies they are often perceived as being creatures of luck and wealth.

There was once a prosperous nation ruled by an emperor who sought the greatest of wealth. His greed knew no bounds, turning his attention to the gemstones atop the foreheads of a rather peculiar species of rabbit-like creature. These mythical stones were said to be capable of curing any ailment, granting luck and all other such mythical effects.

However the more he hunted, the more stones he collected, the more blood he spilled, the worse the fortunes that befell the entire nation. A curse; placed upon the lord and his people for the inhumane acts against the very creatures blessed by nature itself, that is what the people began to say.

Since then, the mythical carbuncle has been sighted across many lands, often found near springs and deposits of magical ores. All places which are often placed under protective custardy by the surrounding nations under fear of the curse being spread once more by fools seeking wealth and power they do not deserve.

However scientists have begun to notice a peculiar pattern in regards to the habitats of these creatures, they are all locations containing extreme concentrations of magical energies. Magical energies that normally if left unchecked prove toxic to both humans and the surrounding wildlife alike, and yet the toxic potency of these energies remains low. Could there be some connection between the carbuncles and the suppression of harmful energies...

Legends speak of the mythical naga, majestic warrior-born creatures that were part man part snake.

There is however, very little evidence of such beings ever existing. But that doesn't seem to stop a certain breed of serpent from mimicking the legends, wielding great weapons by the tail.

Guardians of ancient ruins and temples, perhaps once worshipped as deities. They establish there lairs within the deepest of chambers in which they stand guard of all that lies within; be it their eggs or even the ancient artefacts they take care to preserve and maintain.

With mighty weapons these serpents are not one to shy from a battle, taking to the fight at first provocation. Yet despite this and much unlike the typical archetype of a sly and cunning snake, these serpents fight with honour, acknowledging any warrior who bests them in fair combat.

Be warned however, should you dishonour the duel with unscrupulous tactics these snakes won't hesitate to spit blinding venom into your eyes.

Deep in the jungle a tribe of peculiar puff balls can be found, their culture and traditions seemingly exotic and intriguing to outsiders. But what is most peculiar is their social hierarchy in which the strongest stands on top, literally.

Much like a totem pole they fight in unison as stacked pairs. Where one madly flails their oversized axe, the other desperately tries their best to keep said unruly counterpart under control.

There are many dangers in the deepest depths of the jungle, it is a world in its own right, one where only the mightiest govern the rules. The weak on their own have no hope of to claim the right to rule, not if they continue to fight alone.

In unison these creatures have learnt to fight as one. Seemingly without control they swing their axe to such an unpredictable tangent that it is much like a chaotic but finely tuned dance.

These creatures have mastered the art of fighting as one so much that they understand one another's intent just by the most subtle of tugs from the sole rope that binds them.

Alone they may be weak, but together they form one singular warrior with skills honed to perfection.

These are great fun. I can't for the life of me think how I could use these in my current project, but I wish I could because I think they would spice up many a dull area.
