Well hadn't been here in ages, I once posted here asking for help with my RPG VX Ace game but mistakenly posted in the wrong forum...I was writing a new topic for here but kinda drifted off and never got back to it. Well now I fully got myself to get to it, I have stories and animations I was working on hench why this took so long to do...but I’m happy to finally open this recruitment topic.
First let me talk about my game, and if your interested see the fields I need help with (if you don't know the characters, Google “Friendship Is Magic”).

Here's a few screenshots put into one, the overall story is that Twilight Sparkle has being having nightmares about a skeletal figure and something terrible happening. To her dismay Princess Luna informs her (after meeting her near an strange forest) that the nightmares are in fact visions, and they were foretelling the seal of Tartarus (FIM's underworld, what Cerberus guards in the Season 4 Finale) for some unknown reason breaking. If left unfixed countless monsters and all sorts of evil will be unleashed destroying everything, with the Elements Of Harmony they head inside to stop it. One reason it took a few nights before the Mane Six were told this wasn't just because they needed to pinpoint where the seal was being affected from, but until a dragon (who is of an unknown race and is the first of many to escape Tartarus) attacked them there was no real reason to tell them the full truth until they were fully sure.
However they arrived too late as something appears out seemingly out of dark magic, it's a robed figure who Twilight remembers seeing...in her nightmares. This is Necrozord, a powerful Lich who is millennia old. You see, the world Equestria lives in is one of many life cycles, as the Mane6 explore they'll learn that this cycle will someday end and everything they know will die. But upon their cycle's end a new life cycle will begin, it never repeats the same. An example is one life cycle had no humans, instead ponies rose as the dominant race. So basically when all life dies out it is reborn anew with either minor or major differences, Necrozord is from a life cycle millas and millas old and as the Mane6 will learn, he hates life, and believes the afterlife is superior so he sent out to make it the only form of existence.
To do so he started a war that ended with him being sealed inside Tartarus, however he wasn't truly defeated there as during the life cycles that followed he was slowly regaining his powers. Now he is so strong he was able to escape, but not without damaging the seal on the gates of Tartarus. Instead of a war again he intends to fully shatter the seal and allow the gates of Tartarus to open. To make matters worse he took the Elements of Harmony away and the Mane 6 are forced to find them while he is free to do whatever he has planned, or just wait out until the seal is broken enough for Tartarus to open. So all life in Equestria is on the line, plus Twilight at one point has to risk the very life of her friends or just her own life as they discover a master plan of sorts from stone plates foretelling the future.
So the Mane 6 during this journey aren't fully sure at first what to do, why fight if all they are fighting for will die someday anyways when their cycle ends? They'll have to learn the very thing Necrozord doesn't see, that life is worth living and no matter what they will fight to protect the ones they love because, yes death is scary and is gonna happen, but you gotta live to the fullest and enjoy it while you still can. This will be better explored in the game, but that's not all the story will explore. Necrozord to slow down the Mane6 creates evil counterparts who will play such a measure role I...still need to explore their characters and overall encounters, but they will be important. So yeah the Mane6 has to stop Necrozord before he opens Tartarus and ends the life cycle (a Creator will be mentioned), and along the way Twilight learns to accept that her friends might die, but no matter what they'll fight alongside each other until the end.
This will lead to her being named princess after she learns how special friendship really is, this game will have elements from season 4 and maybe onward but Twilight turning into a Alicorn/princess and other stuff didn't happen yet as the timeline will be different. Basically it's about why their fighting even though the villain is basically right, but needs to be stopped. It won't really take affect until they find a few Elements and even a few items that...well let's just say Necrozord being in a life cycle that wasn't meant for him to be in, causes an effect where areas from his cycle to start appearing in a "two worlds crossing over" sorta way. Twilight might even meet one of the 4 warriors who sealed Necrozord away, but there will be character building and all that stuff.
If you like this idea, here is a list of what I need help with.
So yeah that's about it, if your interested post here and hopefully this game can finally start again...if you have any suggestions feel free to offer those too, hoping to get help in at least one of these fields. ^^
P.S I will be like the Project Champion, you know the one who oversees everything. To make sure everything goes well, I'll be adding the stuff like the scripts and cutscenes but the fields above are more important as without them, this game can't happen.

If you like this idea, here is a list of what I need help with.
- The biggest thing really is custom titlesets for the overworld maps. I need to add areas from the show in 16-bit sprite style, but to do so I need someone to create them. So spot one is titleset maker. To assist, I can give references and there's even a map of Equestria you could use.
- Second nearly as important as the titlesets, are custom battle sprites. The battles will be like those in Final Fantasy IV as VX Ace will be used. I will need someone to create them for me.
- Thirdy any help in creating dungeon designs would be helpful. A dungeon would be complex, and there'll be a few with more than 3 or even 5 floors and need help in making them both appealing and fun to explore. Enemies will be encountered randomly (like in most JRPGs) but less frequently than in most games.
- Lastly I suppose, someone to help in making sprites for the actual characters. I already have the Mane 6 and Luna down plus a few others, but creating sprites for more characters (like the 4 warriors and other story important characters) is also greatly needed. They will be in the same 16-bit style as the tilesets.
So yeah that's about it, if your interested post here and hopefully this game can finally start again...if you have any suggestions feel free to offer those too, hoping to get help in at least one of these fields. ^^
