Hmm thats weird.. If you're running it on a blank project, using New Game, it should have been running fine.

Can you explain the step by step of how you're testing it until it reaches the error, and possibly the exact error message too?

Hey. Thank you for replying.

So my process is:

Made a new project called test



Pasted the hud graphics in the graphics/system folder



Paste and configure the Script



Add the required script calls with parallel process...



And then BAM: Once I hit new game. It's all over.



And I have no idea what I did wrong.
I mean, this is kind of resolved for me, since I now use health bars made with Events, but I figured if anyone else had this problem we might as well help them.

Ah! Darn it! I am so used with Ruby counting IDs from zero that I used this method instead. Thanks for the clarification

Glad that it's all cleared now... And yeah, the database items in RPG Maker actually starts entries at index 1, they keep the 0 index empty... This is probably to avoid confusion when looking inside the database and calling them via scripts.
