I have a habbit of listening to RPG music whenever I want to seek inspiration
or simply to entertain myself. It's almost like a hobby.
Sometimes I even listen to RPGs that I've never played.
I guess I'm not the only one who love to enjoy RPG music.
So feel free to share your favorites!
Maybe there are a lot of hidden gems that worth to listen to.
*Maximum 5 music per post. If you have more, include them in another post.
My favorites (no particular order):
1. Trails in The Sky - Sophisticated Fight
2. Front Mission 4 - Lock & Load
3. Saga Frontier 2 - Feldschlacht I
4. Dragon Quest VIII - Travelling with Wagon
5. Etrian Odyssey 5 - Primeval Forest Ring

This is a battle theme, but it's so unlike a battle theme... But it works!
I was puzzled, how can somebody came up with a battle theme like this?
It's a chill soundtrack yet feels energetic too.
Honestly I'm still puzzled to this day. xD

Front Mission 4 is a game of my childhood, and this track stuck with me till this day.
It sounds so futuristic, and I love how it incorporate mechanical sounds as a rhythmic pattern.

3. Saga Frontier 2 - Feldschlacht I

Another battle theme that made me puzzled.
Not because it's unlike a battle theme, but it's simply weird! (in a good way)
This was composed by Masashi Hamauzu, one of Final Fantasy X composer
and Final Fantasy XIII main composer.
This music is a prove he's a musical genius.

4. Dragon Quest VIII - Travelling with Wagon
.
It's another childhood game of mine.
This track in particular holds special place in my heart.
I played Dragon Quest VIII in 2009, the year of Michael Jackson's passing.
One day a radio station played "One Day in Your Life" while "Travelling with Wagon" plays out.
Since that day I can't stop associating "One Day in Your Life" with "Travelling with Wagon".
Both music are kinda similar too!

5. Etrian Odyssey 5 - Primeval Forest Ring
.
I never played Etrian Odyssey, but I simply like this music.
At first it starts slow. But when it reach 1:46, the real epicness kicks in!
Take a listen to this one!
