Hey everyone! I figure it's about time that I gathered up the free things I've made for RM and put them all together. I've divided the sections up by style. RTP Parallax Spoiler Sprite pieces Spoiler Note: This hat is too tall to be used in the generator. Random Tiles Spoiler VX Ace: 2k3: MV: DS Battlers Spoiler This one is based off a battler from XP Pixel Myth Busts Spoiler Link to Ralph's PSD Link to Eric's PSD LPC Spoiler Get the zip here. Tiny 16 Spoiler The entire set is here Other BattlebacksBattlebacks1 Spoiler Battlebacks2 Spoiler Battle Transitions Spoiler I am willing to look at requests but I'll only make the stuff that interests me and the artwork made will be available for everyone to use. It'll probably end up as a restaff release before it ends up here. When using any of these items please credit me as Lanea Zimmerman. Everything here can be used for both commercial and non-commercial, but if it's commercial I would like a copy of the completed game. The things done in my own styles are also able to be used in Non-RM projects under a CC-BY-3.0 license. Please do not repost these images elsewhere unless you're Grandma Deb or have my express permission.
Thanks everyone! The battle backs were done as an exercise to learn how to digitally paint. I'm still a beginner but when I get better I plan to make a pack for the store.
May I just say- well, two things actually. First, as everyone else commented, your battlebacks are amazing. And second- that tile with the animal tracks is just what I've been looking for. It'll work nicely in "Wolf Moon". Okay, I unintentionally lied. Third thing- would it be all right to use those starfield backgrounds in the opening scene of a Star Wars project?
Sharm, dearie, I was wondering if by any chance you had the layered file for this image: Like everyone else I am entranced by your battlebacks, and I like this one so much! I was wondering if it was possible to use it as a picture in two parts, so that the beach area could be used as a separate picture? Plus I love the doggie footsteps. Now I have to find a footstep script! =] But, (I am repeating myself) do you have it without a background? (((hugs)))
The sand is the same as the second image in battlebacks1. Um, let's see. This is as separate as I've got it on this computer, these battle backs are actually kind of old. They're a bit raw, I think the ocean got squashed to make it look like it does in the original but I don't remember by how much and they're not sized to work in the proper resolution or anything. Wow, all of the transitions I have seen are so ------ um, well the word window blinds comes to mind. Geometric. Mathematical... So the one you made really intrigues me. I want to see it in battle. None of my projects have battles! /me goes to add some blood and gore to some random project somewhere after downloading.....
LOL Thanks! I think I read somewhere that they can be used as scene transitions too but I have no idea how to do that. I may have to make more, they're actually quite easy.
Make a 256-grayscale image in different shades of black, white and gray, right? and her's at least one way to use them as screen transitions.. http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/topic/12797-custom-transitionsscreen-wipe/
