RMMV Shattered Memories (need story ideas)

Hey, guys! I just wanted to tell you all I am working on this original game called Shattered Memories which follows the story on how a hero and a demon from Hell are out together to fight and find out about their troubled memories. There are gonna be more team members in the game, but I am wanting to focus on these two main characters as of right now. The setting is set back into the medieval times.

I am on the hunt for ideas for the story and what it should be about. Thing is I have just one for Thelora, the demon Tsundere girl, where she lost her mother since she was a little girl and yet she is after the killer who brought death to her. She is also the daughter of another demon who is suppose to be her husband before she passed away. Alddon, one of the main characters, however, I still need help with for his troubled past.

You can have both of course, but will you? Will you tell a story about great battles and deciding the destiny of the world, or will you only focus on the character's journeys, their growths and their interactions?

Well, basically I want this to be something personal between the characters. My idea, like I mentioned, is to make it where Alddon (one of the main characters) helps Thelora with her troubled past as she is out to who who killed her mother. Thing is I would wanna add a twist I rather not post in case it would be a spoiler. But then, maybe I could make it epic as well. Whichever works.

What are the keywords that serve as glue for all the different plot elements? One of the themes seems to be trying to find out about your troubled past. I see that you also have a tendency to make demon characters, but I'm not sure if there's a theme behind it or it is simply a consequence of the setting (possibly both). Are there any other core ideas that your story plays with?

This is the most important question for me, all the ideas I could come up with to help you depend on what core concepts I have to touch.

Well, truth is, I kind of wanna make it a personal topic about how much of a past can lead into.

2. The key to this is how this demon from Hell is having a hard life after the events, though she had part of the memory erased later on which can also take you through places until you reached to her homeplace in the Human world later on in the game. Also, I hate placing spoliers, but after she fails to succeed her mission, she looks back into her past as she was the one who killed her herself thanks to her father who wanted Thelora to become the most powerful demon ever in the world. After all, we can learn a lot about this 18,000-year-old demon (18 in human years) as she gets help from Alddon (since he is the one she would trust) on the way, along with their other companions.
