Is there a way to make a party member go to a specific place in the world when they leave the map and is there a way to recall them?

For example, in Shining Force you could collect your members and leave them inside your castle to pick up later.

I hate how in MV the party is always following you or in your main screen menu, they just vanish.

Please forgive me if this is in the wrong spot, I could not find the right forums.

Page 1 of the event would be the character walking around.  Page 2 of the event would have the actor condition checked for that particular actor and be a blank page with no graphic.

I've tried two different methods with what you explained.

With the first two images nothing happened when I pressed the action key, he just kept wandering.

The third image I added "change member" to it and that worked but now I have no way to remove him from my party to make him walk around again....

I'm really looking for a way to remove people from my party and have them return to the world map.

Oh, nevermind that worked... now if only there was a way to make a logbook of sorts so that I could pick and choose individual party members from one spot instead of needing to walk up to that one person.

Could you create a Common Event, in which the question is put as to which Member to manipulate..? Then create an Item (A Log-Book..?), and add an Effect to the Item (on the right...), of the type Other - Common Event, which calls up the Event you've just created..? Make the Item a Key Item, non-Consumable, with a Scope of None. This Item could then be 'used' by the Player at any moment of the Game that other Items can be used, on any Map.

Any use to you..?

@BuldinnIt is possible to make an event that allows you to choose which actor to add to the party, but you would need conditional branches for every combination of actors unlocked, unless players can only recruit actors in a specific order.  Although this might be easier: http://mvplugins.com/plugin/MrTrivel/Party%20Manager

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
