Ship on Japanese RPG Maker MV site

I've been looking for ship tilesets and in addition to the very nice ones found here on this forum, I found one (along with other resources) at https://tkool.jp/mv/ (click on the fourth option in the menu and scroll down).


Is this the official Japanese RPG Maker MV website, and are the resources here available to all RPG Maker MV owners (whether you bought the Japanese version or not)? Google translate of the terms and conditions seem to suggest commercial and non-commercial use is fine and I didn't see the names of any particular artists to credit, but please let me know if it says otherwise in Japanese. Thanks!

That's a good looking boat. I'm in the market for a boat tileset too, for no reason other than I'm abandoning my creative principles and am making an RTP game just for practice. I'm so lost. It would be nice if they bring those free graphics to the En version, but it almost makes me wonder if they haven't for a reason. The demand for a DLC market has killed the default RTP; It's kinda limited. That pirate ship tileset (is that the same one?) in the store is 10$, though I feel like it would be default RTP in an older maker.


EDIT: Oh wait. I see that one in the store is for Ace upon second glance.

@mogwai: Yeah, they're different since the pirate ship one is for Ace otherwise I would have gotten it. The one on the Japanese website is nice because it's relatively easy to make several different-looking ships. Hopefully someone will be able to provide some feedback regarding that website and the usability of its resources.

There is a thread that translates the usage rights of tkool.jp, but I can only find the translation of Ace terms.




I'd like to use this boat too... if that is really the official RPG Maker site, as he states. I feel weird about using resources from independent artists who didn't make money by my owning of the software.

Especially for music, we got close to 10 or so or so music packs available for purchase on Steam and this site's store in recent months.
