I can set up a rare item in the database so that a shop selling it only has one, or 4 or whatever in stock. That works because there are only 1 or 4 etc in the database. However, I also want to be able to do that with an ordinary item, e.g. health potions, where I cannot set an overall limit.
To illustrate my meaning:
It has always struck me as a bit odd that a fleapit of a village has a shop selling unlimited numbers of potions. I would like that shop to have e.g. a maximum of 6. A shop in a town, however, might have 50, and in a large town it might be as many as the player can pay for.
Does anyone know if this is possible?
