This isn't something I have to do very often, but some scripts require me to re-open the project after modifying the data files directly.

Which is just a matter of me hitting "File" and then pressing "Close Project" (they don't have a shortcut for this? Ctrl+W?) and then drag/drop my project file onto the maker.

And now the new changes are reloaded.

Has anyone found a faster way to reload projects?

I'm not sure since I've never used it myself, but you may be able to use AutoHotKey to setup a global hotkey to do it. pressing ALT should auto-select the menus on the top of the screen if RM acts like most programs.

If you're running windows 7, you could actually just pin them to your task bar.  Click and drag above it, it'll have a list of recently opened projects there.  You can simply close the maker, and then reopen it.  It'll have the same effect.

Not to mention you can pin individual projects, so the projects you're working on will be at the very top of the list as shortcuts.

This also works in Windows 8(.1) as well. Its task bar in desktop mode works the same.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:
Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
