As the title says, how the heck can I use "Show picture" event without making it appear above my parallax layer from the script? It's even hiding the choice box under it which is kinda game breaking. Light rays above choice boxes look seriously wrong.

Please help. I'm going crazy here trying to figure this out for days.

#Edit: I've found a temporary solution. I will use show picture instead of parallax script for creating the small part of map which has to be above light ray and player (from another show picture event). The bad thing about it is that it still doesn't solve problem with choice box being under the actual picture.

This can't be done without a script, so...

You could try Modern Algebra's Fix picture to map script. It allows you to vary the z value of the picture using a variable. Try setting the value to -1. You may have to experiment with it to get just what you want.

Great! But please don't double post (post underneath yourself), just edit your previous post if you've got something to add :)

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
