Hello,

Sorry it this is in the wrong spot, but if it doesn't exist I will be requesting it if its not that hard.

Anyway, I am looking for something that allows a Screen to Popup with stats when a player selects Exit from the menu.
This game is based on days and it would be nice that when a player selects exit, before it asks you to go back to title or shutdown, it will briefly show how many days (and other stats if possible) have passed - it can even be in a regular "Show Text" message window.

Thank you.

Why don't you use some common events, variables and switches for that? It can be easier when you use Ace Menu System.

First make a common event that will show those statistics you want. Then in the script comment out line 188 and 189.

Go to line 126 to add the common event that will show the statistics. It would be like this:

:game_end => ["Game End",       0,         0,         event_id],

Don't forget to add the Go to Title Screen in your common event if you want to go to the title screen.

I did not understand what you meant by this. I am still learning the script. (Just started actually).

I added the event line to the module (correct terms?) and every time I would select Game End in the game it would just exit the menu. Do do I edit something at lines 188-189?

I did get it to work by hiding the default Game End command and making a new one that calls the Common Event, but still curious as to what I was doing wrong with getting the default option to run the event.

Thanks, again! It not only got me what I was looking for but I learned something as well. :D

EDIT: I included the scripting that I did in the first screenshot, and was wondering what I needed to change in the second screenshot to get the default Game End option to work.

EDIT 2: Did you mean "take out" lines 188 and 189?

Add "#". It will comment out the lines. Or press Ctrll+Q on those lines.

Here's a screenshot

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
