Ok, so i finally got my new laptop, had a few issues with it at first but im warming up to it (I CAN PLAY MINECRAFT AGAIN, WITH DECENT FPS XD !!!)....however i have alot of getting used to, yet still.... 
. Im really confused....technically this laptop is supposed to be MUCH better than my old one....and in many ways it is, but there are little things here and there where it performs poory compared to my old inferior one, things that you wouldent think...or at least i wouldent. For instance, gimp LAGS....!! . Zooming in, moving the box selection, certain other tools, is choppy.... . Its not so bad that i cant work with it at all, but its bad enough that im afraid it could crash at any second, plus its still REALLY annoying, especially after working with it on my old laptop without problems ....so i was wondering if any of you could suggest any other free graphic editors with layers? I know a few already like Paint.Net...but i wanna know what yalls experiences with them are too. Anyway, thanks yall .

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
