Signature link help

I want to add a clickable link in my signature that leads to my project thread, but not as I currently have it with the text url, but with a clickable image. I have the image I want to use, problem is, how do I paste/add the url? I haven't uploaded the image to any sites yet, I want to upload it here if possible because I have no accounts on any image hosting sites. Is it possible to do this simply by uploading the image here on this site?

Oh, that's easy. Just selecting your image and click the link button, then add your link here and click Insert button.

It's a good way to show me, but as I am trying it, it won't even let me upload the image to my signature. I put my image link in the image option, but the image doesn't show. lol
