Before The Script

So hi everyone~ Sorry for my bad English again=-=... This is my first sciprt and this script makes you have a simple bust message system.

How to use it?

 If you want to make the face of Ralph automatically switched by the bust of Ralph. First, find the face_name and face_index of Ralph, which are Actor1 and 0.

then put the bust in Graphics/Busts folder as Actor1_0, then it will be automatically substituted by the bust.

Terms of Use

 Just credit me and you can do whatever you like with this script =w=

This scipt contains some additional features which might be useful, but I do not consider that as part of this script.​

Ok so I have my own busts but how do I get the bust shot folder??

Create it yourself... I assume you should already know how to create a new folder in your computer...

Ok so I created the folder but the busts still aren't available in the game.

Those busts will never be available in the editor - that's why you need the script linked in the original post (or a similiar script) to automatically replace the face with the bust if available during game.

-1) Make sure you created the folder in the right place

0) Make sure the busts are inside the bust folder

1) Make sure you put the right file names on the busts

2) Make sure you are configuring the script correctly if it needs some customization

3) Make sure you're actually using the script...

My issue with getting it working was the busts I downloaded started with an index of 1 instead of 0. Changed the filenames and it worked.

Unfortunately it isn't compatible with Yanfly's Message System, which I use to display actor names, so for now, I'm not going to use this script, but I thought I'd share my experience with getting it working.

@SakuraMiya I suggest using one of the other bust scripts - there are half a dozen, including from Fomar (in one of the Restaff Archives), Galv (on his blog) and Modern Algebra (ATS: Face Options on rmrk.net).


The poster of this script has not been active for about three years and it is unlikely that this script is available elsewhere.
