Hey guys,

Icedragon, a chap who is no longer active in the community (5 years absence) once wrote a very simple script for a simple crafting system. It's pretty nice to use, the only bother is that it doesn't display a message, or make a sound effect after a successful craft!

So if you're mixing random materials, and craft something, you have no way of known what that item was, unless you have your inventory memorised.

All I need is a little message box that says "x Item was successfully crafted" or something like that, maybe with a success SE.

Here's the link to the original script: http://www.rpgmakervxace.net/topic/1677-solvedsimple-crafting-system-lock-topic/

Thanks for taking the time to check this out for me.

I've moved this thread to RGSSx Script Support. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

RGSS3 Scripts is for completed scripts that you have made.

It should be very simple for you to add a SE after an item was crafted. Having it pop up another window with a message will be a bit more difficult (and tbh I think it would get annoying if a player wanted to craft a lot of things one after the other).

What Reviews say on RPG Maker MZ?
Looking back at some sketches, and game design documents on my PC dated summer of 2015. I started development with the release of MZ, but in 2015, I felt a strong desire to make a game out of the blue. I remember feeling sad for no apparent reason, and all these ideas rushed into my head. Now that I think about it, since that day, everything has become easier to do on my PC . . . it’s very creepy.
Everything's going to be alright! We're all in this together. <3
Aaaaannd published my game's tech demo. :D

Feel free to download and play it. And give feedback!
