Simple Follower Control

    This works wonderfully.  However, any chance you can get this working without having to use the Wait for Complete so that the whole party can move at the same time?  Or am I using the plugin wrong?  Thanks.

    Same here.....

    AND I'm having another problem. I have a team with 3 characters. To the third actor I should use "MoveFollower 2", but when I do it the game crashes aying that "2" is "undifined" :p

    This scripts is far from usefull for know, I think. ):

    I get the same problem mentionned before in that topic on a brand new map. The event that make it do is an autorun, only got 3 other event in the map on push to activate. I wonder what happen. I can tell, the crash happen when i use MoveFollower 1 (not in the move route). It work like a charm on other maps.

    Here what it say:

    TypeError

    Cannot read property 'setDirectionFollower' of undefined

    Hey Karberus,

    I would really appreciate if you could update this plugin I would really love to have some control over

    my followers, especially for cutscenes etc...

    right now it gives this error while trying to move the second follower:

    and it seems AnalogMove.js from Senshiro and Yanflys EventChasePlayer.js cause some incompatibility.

    Here's a suggestion:

    There is a follower function I wanted that I spent all afternoon working on in my own script.

    It is when you stop moving, your followers will look in the same direction as the leader. That way your followers don't look stupid.

    Something to consider.

    Seems very useful for the types of cut scenes I do, instead of having to fade out, hide followers, set switches to events that look like your followers, and do all the show balloons and movement on them, now I can just have the followers do it, also having events move through followers, brilliant!  Thanks for making this for us.

    Also, is it possible to command the followers based on their names rather than numbers? I have it set up where you can change the formation a lot, and that could really mess up cutscenes.

    Thank you! Thank you SO much!!! this is exactly what I needed.


    Although I have found 1 issue...


    If i have used the MoveFollower 1 command in a "cutscene" scenario, and i then try and move and event character I get an error:


    "Cannot read property 'moveFollwer' of Undefined"

    EDIT: it appears that unrelated NPCs on move routes or random movement will sometimes cause this in a race condition even when using MoveFollower 0 immediately after the move route concerning the actual follower has just ended.


    The following code modification fixes it for me (which essentially tells non-player characters to not mess around with the special followers handling when it is active):


    Game_Character.prototype.updateRoutineMove = function() {
    if (this._waitCount > 0) {
    this._waitCount--;
    } else {
    this.setMovementSuccess(true);
    var command = this._moveRoute.list[this._moveRouteIndex];
    if (command && Karberus.FollowerOpt.WhichFollower > 0

    this.processMoveFollowerCommand(command);
    this.advanceMoveRouteIndex();
    }

    };




    (replace the previous similar block containing "updateRoutineMove" function with this updated one)

    I have on screen encounters that chase you and I was wondering how I would make it so that enemies can collide with your followers as well as you to trigger the event. Is this possible with this plugin? Right now I just have it so that the enemies pass through your followers.

    Hello Karberus! The plugin is amazing, thank you for sharing!

    I found a little bug on the plugin, I would like to know if you could fix it!

    When I use ''StopFollowers true'' plugin command, it works perfectly. But if the player walks at diagonal movements then the follower start to move. Could you fix that please?
