I'd like to know if it would be possible to have a small particle engine plugin made.  Nothing too extreme, just the usual that can take a png image and control color as well as direction of particles. My intent is to use it with maps, and the title screen.  I can supply samples for particles if needed for testing.

Yeah, I was really hoping with the move to Javascript, the engine would've supported particles out of the box... To either replace or even enhance the normal animation effects we already have...

Have you taken a look at this: http://www.a-jie.cn/proton/

It seems to have support for Pixi.js, which is what MV uses for rendering.
I have and unfortunately there are no tutorials(despite having that option and link) and the code itself even put into notepad++ is all just one huge line that doesn't allow me to do much.  I admit it looks pretty, but without the knowledge to use it or the tools that are marked 'coming soon' it doesn't really help me much.

I'm not looking for something super powerful.  I just want it to take a png file randomize the color and set a direction.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
