Simple Threat Based Request

I do believe I need a plugin to do this, so I am request one. I hope it's not too hard to do.

I have created a custom parameter called "Threat". This parameter is increased/decreased by a flat # via skills, items, etc.

what i need a plugin to do is take that custom parameter and use it with TGR. 

Basically:

Threat * TGR% = Chance you will be attacked.

The TGR% is defined by class, and that is the only time TGR is used. Threat parameter is what increases and decreases if you are attacked or not.

I am hoping someone out there can aid me in this!

Threat is a parameter of what, exactly? Actors? Classes? Enemies?


If you have used a script/plugin to create this parameter, you'll probably need to provide it so whoever does this knows how you've implemented it.


Also, "I need to take that custom parameter and use it with TGR" and "Threat parameter is what increases and decreases if you are attacked or not" - one of these statements indicates the plugin just needs to use it. The other indicates it needs to change it.


You probably need to give more info on what you have done yourself, and how, and what the plugin needs to do.

I have created a custom parameter called Threat, right now it doesn't do anything.

Classes, as my design is class based, have different base TGR%. like a warrior would have 100% where as a cleric might have 50%.

I just need a plugin that takes this custom parameter named "Threat" and multiplys it by whatever the class's TGR is. 

So if a warrior has threat of 5, it would be 5 * 100% = new value that determines how often he's attacked.

I would settle with being able to say each point of "threat" (custom parameter made with bob_customstats) increases an actor's TGR by 2%

I'd like to request a threat system as well!

My ideas on it:

10 section threat gauge

Each gauge section will increase the actor's target rate by 25%.

So having 5/10 sections will increase the actor's TGR by 125%

Each skill, by default, will increase this gauge by 2. (unless changed in plugin parameters)

Critical hits will increase gauge by 3. (or whatever set in plugin params)

Notetags should be able to change threat gain/loss.

<Threat: +10> | <Threat: -2> | <Threat: +3> | etc.

Hope someone takes a go at it! >_<

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
Can someone recommend some fun story-heavy RPGs to me? Coming up with good gameplay is a nightmare! I was thinking of making some gameplay platforming-based, but that doesn't work well in RPG form*. I also was thinking of removing battles, but that would be too much like OneShot. I don't even know how to make good puzzles!
one bad plugin combo later and one of my followers is moonwalking off the screen on his own... I didn't even more yet on the new map lol.
