So I wanted to know if there was a way to pack all of the assets (audio/images mostly) into a single file that can be read by the exported game?

I looked in the Tools area and thought I saw some things, but I wasn't sure if they where what I wanted.

Anyone have an idea or point me in the right direction?

    Thanks!

Note: If this gets moved, like I think it will, then I will change the title of the OP.

You should give your thread the correct title in the first place. If it's not in the right place, the mods will move it - you don't have to name it that. And as you're asking about deploying the game, Deployment would be the right forum :)

I think you're after the Encrypt option when you deploy it. I'm not sure how much it packs into the file - I know it puts all the graphic resources in there, not sure about the audio.

I've moved this thread to RPG Maker MV. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

Please give your topics a meaningful title, one which gives an indication of the type of query you have. Queries such as "Help plz!" or "I have a problem" or "Newcomer, & I'm stuck" does not provide enough information. It's quite possible that people will just skip by it in the New Posts/New Threads thinking that's what it is. It also means that if anyone in the future has the same sort of query, they will be unable to find this and (hopefully) the solution.

Encryption is one thing. What I want is a way to zip up all the files and keep them inside the audio/img folder and have the game read that zip file and load the files from it.

    Maybe a plugin or tool?

    Thanks.

    Done, thanks for moving it!

Encryption does zip them up into a single file.

What is the point to zip them into one file since anyone can unzip it and take whatever he want in a blink.
If it's for a tidy look, i think group them into folders was very tidy already

Can you describe what you're trying to *accomplish* with this?

Is it about reducing the file size of the deployed game? Or about securing your assets from being stolen?

Sorry, so um, Enigma VirtualBox (version 9.30 I tried to downgrade but nobody has 9.20) isn't working anymore (it crashes my game the moment I run it but when unboxed, it's fine) so I wanted to use it with SRD's auto update plugin but didn't want to have to write out each and every asset and i thought maybe having each separate asset combined in a single file would help with that.

Also I thought encryption just encrypted the contents of the files and changed the file extension, not combine them into one file?

This really isn't about security more than it's about ease of use.

Its either this or a plugin that can do what SRD's auto update plugin can do with unzipping capabilities. :/

Does your game... really need to be protected that tightly? =D
I mean if they're all default asset & free plugins...
