Not focused on making something in particular, hence the title is what it is. I make whatever that I need whenever they are needed, and perhaps answer random request that caught my eyes and is within my capability. Nothing spectacular, but I figure there might be people who might find these handy.


General Terms of use:

  1. Some resources requires you to own legal RMVXA/RMMV license. Will briefly mention this before each upload. If you own both, then you have nothing to worry about.
  2. Credit is not required for most, but it would be nice. I generally only ask to be credited for things that take a long time/effort to make/edit.
  3. Only to be used in RPGmaker games unless stated otherwise
  • Commercial: allowed. So far only the city battleback requires you to acquire additional permission.
  • Editing: allowed.
  • Distribution of edited: PM me first.
  • Direct link to images: not allowed.

MGS Stealth Character under a box (with faceset)

I am not interested in making generator parts, therefore you will have to do them yourself, or use photo editing software to manually put them on your character.


Color can be easily changed by adjusting the hue in photoshop/gimp


Just keep in mind that the death pose for SV battler requires you to put the hair layer on top of the swimsuit layer, or else your character will look odd.

The tabard should fit most of the RTP clothes. You can also use your color gradient to change the color to what you want (main color, edge, and decoration)

The elevator work just as it is, but you need to modify the wall section above the glass door to match the wall you are using on your map. You can also delete it altogether and it will still be fine. The boom gate requires intermediate (I guess) knowledge on event-ing.

Stable

While I was going through my own project, I realized that an inn/tavern wouldn't be complete without a stable. Where else can you put your horse while you go to have a drink. So I did something quick, and comes with stepping animation, for my project.


A few things to keep in mind:

  1. All my maps are parallaxed and the tiles are moved down by 24 pixels to deal with the blocky issue that I have always disliked, which means that this stable building comes with a 24-pixels gap at the bottom. I can't describe it well so I will just include a picture to show you what it looks like ingame,
  2. Set the event priority to below character and make sure the passibility for the tiles where the stable is sitting on to not passable. To illustrate this, all the squares with red X should not be passable and the squares with green O are passable.
  3. Add a $ in front of the image name and place it on your map with stepping animation turned on, and it is animated.



i have plans on adding different roofs, but that can wait for later.

Partially Submerged Objects


Something I made for my project, partially submerged logs and rocks. I remember someone requested these a long time ago but I have no interest in these at the time.


There are 2 images for the logs because one of them will bob up and down

The additional blank space is so that you can make them march out of view in smaller maps. You can also eliminate them altogether and make them march into an area hidden under overlay image or event with priority set to "Above player"

Animal Trophies

Just as I was working on my last workshop request, one of the problem I had was the lack of things to add to a tavern.. animal trophies is one of them. Probably going to make some sort of animal skin rug at some point later.


These are made using most of whtdragon's animals. Such edits are not violating his/her terms of use. You're free to edit/add new animals as you see fit, which is why I included that last board with no head on it.


Note: no animal is harmed in the production of such product

Short tutorials:

Save the door image and name it anything you want, but make sure that the name starts with !$. I name mine !$Doors_1
Also make sure you put it in your game's character folder. Not the tileset folder.
 
Control panel needs to go on one of the tileset folder. This requires basic knowledge on how tileset editing.
 
For the elevator door:

Switch to event editing mode, then right click on the tile to add the elevator and use the quick event creation option to create a new door.

 
Double click on the default door image and pick the elevator door from the list you will be presented. You should be able to find the elevator door if you place the saved file in the "character" folder.

 
 
Select the final destination for the elevator door event, and you are done.



For the glass door:

Make sure that the layout look like this before you place the door. You have to edit the image slightly if your door is at the corner of the room, or if you have a different styled wall. Basic image editing skill is needed.

 
Make sure that you are on event editing mode instead of tileset editing mode and create a door event.

 
Change the default door image to the glass door image. You should be able to find it from the list of images if you save it in your game's "character" folder.

 
 
Once the image is set, don't worry about anything else and click OK.

 
 
Then double click the door event and remove anything below the "Set movement route: This event (Wait)" event.

 
 
Finally, your glass door event page should look like this at the end.

Added a boom gate since I happen to make one for a project. Refer to the tutorial in the first image on how to set it up so that it opens, wait for x amount of frames and close it back down no matter which side you approach it from.

Comparison of how each of them look ingame. Since its pixel repair, its not exactly visible if you don't look closely.

If you don't really care about the minor details, then it doesnt matter which iconset you use:

The eggs are cute :) You could also have arranged them in horizontal rows so they could just be used with stepping animation turned on, rather than a move route to change direction.

Been scratching away at my game and making progress, but just had a revelation. I'm working in full screen and adjusting all my pictures accordingly, but will they resize if someone's screen is smaller?? I hope this doesn't turn out to be a problem later.
