    Just use a transfer event.

    I have included a transfer event in the sample demo I sent you. When you touch the temple door, you will be brought upstairs, unless you want to transfer a player into a room before going upstair. You will have to add that additional map yourself.

    Your work is simply amazing. I'm just learing parallax mapping, maybe you could help me out about something. When you paste

    Wow, your work is amazing. May I have a question? I'm just starting to learn parallax mapping, and I was wondering how do you use Pandamaru's cliff tiles to get that nice, organic, not blocky cliff at the northeast? Do you just paste the tiles or do you have to make some serious editing?

    @J_C

    That cliff is actually not Pandamaru's. Only the little bit around the entrance is.

    The simplest way is to use Pattern stamp tool. It is available for both gimp and photoshop.

    Select a sample of the cliff pattern to save and you're basically done.

    The rest is about the cosmetics and make it look more cliff like and eliminate all the edges that made it looked like it was cloned.

    Just a side request that I took on while I am working on the current maps.

    Needless to say that I underestimated the scope of the work needed, and it doesn't help when I did not save and have to start from scratch once again  :o

    Second attempt after I restarted piecing bits together from the RTIP tileset took 5 hours. Had to re-create extra bits of furniture that are not in the tileset, but those didn't take very long since they are RTP edits.

    Leon93's Request

    Size: 45 x 38  (The original image is actually bigger... Also that it is not in the standard MV size)

    Resources used: RTP + RTIP edits

    Final Sizes:

    1. Parallax Layer: 1.126MB (reduced from 2.707MB)
    2. Overlay Layer: 277.3KB

    Terms of use:

    • Must own a legal copy of RPGmaker MV

    Based on concerns that was brought up, I have adjusted how the image will be displayed in the gallery. The change I made this time was that instead of watermarking of stamping the image with that obnoxious sample stamp, I resized the resolution slightly so that other's cannot simply edit this map and use it for their personal project without the consent of Leon93.

    Other changes this time is that any custom edits I made will be included at the very bottom so that the person the placed the request and anyone else may download them if they find that the edits are useful for their own project.

    Final look:

    Kloe's Request

    Possibly one of the most challenging request so far due to the different elevation. Initial plans told me that there would be at least 4 different elevation levels, but I was able to narrow it down to 3.

    Size: 41 x 40

    Resources used: RTP, RTP edits, Pandamaru's tiles (blacksmith furnace, anvil, bridge, tree), Lupinos (roof)

    Final Sizes:

    1. Parallax Layer: 1.59MB (reduced from 6.80MB)
    2. Ground Layer: 2.80MB
    3. Overlay Layer: 533KB

    Terms of use:

    • Must own a legal copy of RPGmaker MV
    • Commercial use: Must contact @PandaMaru for additional permission
    • Non-Commercial use: Must credit the appropriate individuals

    Final Look (adjusted to x% of the original size for viewing purpose)

    NOTE: The exit doubles as the entrance for the day/night version of the tavern.

    The actual map itself took less than half a day, but was delayed due to university assignments/assessments on top of other commitments

    I was tempted to make 2 versions of the map for day and night, but I did not get around to do it. If it was to happen, the lighting would be slightly different (mostly around the window and the entrance area.

    Development:

    None. I was given the freedom to explore, so all I did was laid down a slightly bigger area for the floor, before I drew over it quickly using different color brushes to indicate which section is for which object/floor. I shrunk down from a 22x22 to 15x15 to make the map more compact and eliminate unnecessary spaces. In the end, I would be happier if there is an animal skin rug somewhere.

    Hi. I would like to request an abandoned city of a mysterious Ancient Race on a mountain. Think of a fantasy version of a lost Mayan city. Of course mapping an entire city would be too much, so I am looking for just the center portion. This is for MV and any of the RTP tiles may be used. Feel free to remix and combine the tiles if necessary. The city should include the following:

    - The giant temple of a forgotten god, located to the north of the city. With sacrifice areas.

    - City square with strange placement of totems

    - Surrounded by Jungle

    - Some building ideas that you could place as you see fit: Tavern, Stables, Barracks, Alchemy Lab, Smith, Weapons, General Store, Gambling Hall, Bathing Pools (like the Romans), Merchant Houses, Mage Guild, Slave Quarters, Fighting Pits. Now unlike a regular town where there are obvious signs indicating the store, none of the stores should directly state what it is. Instead its function should be implied.

    - Canals

    Thanks!

    You've never added a sample of a fantacity(It's my term :D) map, so I'm gonna ask away, do you also do them? If so, I'd love to drop a request if that's fine ^_^

    [EDIT]

    You also do one for VX Ace right?

    Sorry for the late response.

    @watermark I think I can do that. Going to do some research and get back to you. Probably at the start/middle of next week. I am preparing for a game demo this week.

    @Ace VII fantacity?

    I work with VXA stuff as well, but my preferred is still MV since I lost some of my VXA stuff awhile back during system failure.
    Another thing is that you will have to brief me on which layer is needed as I am not familiar with what script is used for your VXA project and how it all works with things like the overlays and whatnot.

    After carefully considering the number of available hours and my various commitments to various projects and requests, I have decided to temporarily suspend my services until further notices (perhaps until July when my current university semester ends). All requests that has been placed will still be worked on, I just won't be taking on any other request here or anywhere else. Thank you for the faith you guys put in me. I will be back.

    Just completed my exam.. hopefully my ISP will stop screwing up so that I can return to live as a normal human being (been staying up overnight at uni and return home to sleep during the day for exam prep cuz my internet is not working). I am going to disappear from the 5th of July - 19th of July again to go home and pay my respect to my recently departed grandmother who passed away 1.5 weeks ago. The last 3-4 weeks have been hell; major projects, uncooperating project members, exam revision, brief grieving period and back to exam revision.

    @watermark

    My deepest apology, but my uni stuff takes precedence since I am keen on graduating ASAP. On the positive side, I have pretty much finalized the all the structures for your map. I recently factory reseted my computer so I need to get gimp and everything else back and running. Then all that is left is building the land and adding the finishing touches. I will pm you a sample of individual buildings for you to take a good look at.

    I must say that I seriously underestimated the scope of your request... city planning isn't really my thing =x

    Watermark's Request

    Originally I try to fit it all into 1 map, but it quickly escalated and ended up as 3 maps.

    Used the best quality for the images I used for the map. I can try to tune it down reduce the overall size if needed

    Originally a request for a roman/mayan styled city with canals, a town square, general store, blacksmith, tavern, merchant house, bath house, barracks, fighting pit, gambling den, slave quarter, mage guild, alchemist guild, and a stable. Based on the style request, I used a lot of stone brick and square-ish buildings. Additional features include a city wall, residence building, graveyard, statues, etc.

    Hello, Sinweaver.

    I'm amazed with your work. You became simple maps into incredible artworks.

    If you are receiving requests I wish you give me a help.

    • Stage: Tower of Empty [Final Boss];
    • Size: 51x53 (You may change as your wish);
    • 3 floors (Boss on the last floor);
    • The first floor has a central water mirror (I loved it!) and streamers beside each room entrance;
    • The second floor has a short grass path; After this path there are holes;
    • Behind the boss' throne there's a statue of a goddess;
    • It must cause a terror feeling.

    You can create a tileset map because my project aims a Brazilian school computers (they aren't so fast).

    I'll be available for any further information.

    Thanks in advance.
