Sixteen row text display?

I love being able to enter blobs of text, but there are times when I want to read the text on screen like the page of a book...

Only...four rows of text doesn't work for that.

Now, there is the option of using the scrolling text command, but that's not what I need.

Is there any way to have say, sixteen rows of text displaying on the screen rather than just four?

Create it in some other program, save as a .png file and use the 'Show Picture' command.
Add an additional command of 'show text' but choose 'transparent'. Then have a third command 'Erase Picture'.

Now the picture will stay for as long as the player wants to read it, and when they hit enter, it goes.

use a message script - the two better ones allow you to change height and width of the message window by variables.
Yanfly's Message System is the more commonly used one, Modern Algebras Advanced Text System has a lot more options and is (in my opinion) superior, but also requires more effort to learn how to configure and use correctly while yanfly's is a bit easier.

Both are on the Ace master script list.

@Andar Okay, I'll have a look. If either are not too complex with the scripting portion, I can see about using those.
