Hello all,I hope you are having a beautiful day. I have a question about skills. Would it be possible to have a menu where skills are powered up with points you get each level that you can choose to distribute and after you put a few points in them they morph into a new skill? I want to let the player choose which skills that power up and improve

Thanks in advance for any help.

Yes, this is completely possible with Yanfly's Skill Learn and JP Plugins. You can award JP (or however you choose to rename it) per level, and you can spend that JP to earn skills. Each skill can be set to have prerequisites, and you can set it so that previous skills are neither visible or selectable when the skills that obsolete them are learned. For example, if you have a fire spell called Ignis, and then use some JP to unlock a more powerful version, Ignis II, Ignis II will now appear in battle, but Ignis will not. Likewise, you can replace Ignis II with Ignis III, and then that might morph into a more powerful class of fire spell.

Not by default, you'll need a plug-in

I've moved this thread to Plug-In Requests. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

Great thanks! I'll play around with that and try to figure out how to use the plugin. Thank you very much again for all your help, I am beyond grateful :)

@123uconduit You're welcome.

A quick forum pointer though: the mods frown upon quoting whole posts, and doing so is considered a violation of forum rules, though you're new, so you probably didn't know that. Don't worry; it's not a particularly serious offense, and you'll probably just receive a reminder from them. Just use the "@Arithmetician" format if you want to draw my attention to a post.

@123uconduit You're welcome. I do the same for any newcomers who I see making that mistake; it's quite common!
