I'm making multiple enemy skills that go like (Something) Slash. (Fire Slash, Dark Slash, Ice Slash, ect) How the Slash skill works is that it does normal damage but if it is used first during a turn it will inflict a state on the target. How exactly can I do that? Thanks!

(P.S. Do note that I'm not using the default battle system. I'm using FallenAngelOlivia's Order Turn Battle plugin, so make sure any of your ideas are compatible with that. Thanks!)

Hello KrimsonKatt,

You can do almost all of this in the damage formula.

You will need to create switches and name them so they are easy to find. You are going to have to create a switch for each troop member, so eight, or as many as you like. Example names: 01_firstSkillUsed, 02_firstSkillUsed, 03_firstSkillUsed, and so on.

Mr. Trivel has made detailed instructions for damage formulas years ago. You can find the instructions here: https://www.rpgmakercentral.com/topic/36290-damage-formulas-101-mv-edition/

You will need if statements to first check if switch is on.

You will also need to make battle events for each troop with the condition of Turn End and with the span set to Turn. When the event runs you will need to set each switch to off.

I would help you futher if I was not so busy. I hope this leads you in the right direction.

Have a great day,

Zeireth

I always told my DA fans how much I hate slot machines. They're fine in games as a risk-and-reward system. But when you're spending REAL MONEY in a Vegas casino to try and hit the jackpot (which very, very few people will), it can really hurt your budget. Gambling is a bad habit, and I don't like wasting my money on a slim chance. Go to Vegas for the experience, not the jackpot.
Took the kids to a corn maze. They gave us a map and had lights at certain points in the maze. Not overwhelming... or underwhelming... just... whelming.
