Currently, the Class System for my game involves 1 skill pool, but the available skills a class can learn depends on that class. This is paired with a Skill Equip system to further customization and assign characters to roles that fit their playstyle. Here's some examples:
EDIT: I forgot to mention, but characters and classes have statistical differences to separate them, as well as other functions that make them different from one another.

- All healers have access to the basic heal/cure skills, but the "Cleric" only has the best heal skill, and they do not have access to better version of supportive skills i.e. granting barriers, increasing stats, etc.
- Physical and magical tanks have access to the best physical and magical defense skills respectively, while a hybrid tank do not, but the hybrid tank has access to other skills that the previous classes do not have, like migitating damage against both at the same time.
