If this is in the wrong forum I apologize and please move me. I looked around and can't seem to find what I'm looking for. I'm not the strongest scripter so if this does require some, try and keep it simple. I wan't to make dialog appear only if a certain skill type is used/known. Not only do I need it to allow certain dialog when a party member is using "Magic," but I also need another to remove static effects of anyone who does NOT use "Magic."
The first is to allow you to learn magic from the Mage in the starting town and become the mage class. I know how to do everything except the check itself. However I considered using multiple class checks, but my game is coded with over 15 different classes. Only 5 of which are obtainable at start so for only one NPC won't be so bad, but I really would like to ovoid this for the second situation. (Figured out a simpler way to do this part however it will not work for the other). The second is to allow "Non-magic users" a free heal and debuff removal at alters. Again I know how to do everything except the check its self. This is due to Magic Users being shunned in my game for an added difficulty bonus.
