Skills and levels resetting Rpgm2k3

I've got this problem, basically when I load saves in test play, characters' levels which where minimumed at 2, reset back to 1 sometimes, and a skill that is learned at level 1, get the character up to level 2, save, come back later and load, the level 1 skill has disappeared?


Ideas are appreciated!
