Hello,

I was wondering if it were possible to create a class with an ability that deals a small amount of damage and heals the party as well.

Thank you!

I'm 99% sure its possible, I'm trying to do something similar (damage to enemy, buff self), just haven't had the chance to figure it out yet.

Pretty sure using Yanfly's action sequence pack (battle core required) can accomplish this.

I completed this using a common event that was triggered by the action.  I think the plug-ins give you better support for having particular effects happen that are beyond the battle event/non-script function.

@rule665

The Action Sequence Pack does the battle animation, it does not in and of itself construct the skill.  That has to be done in the skill tab, using the damage formula etc.

How I would do it would be

In the damage formula box have whatever damage you want to inflict on the enemy.

In the Effects box, call a common event.  That common event does a 'Force Action' of using an all-party healing skill.

Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
