Hi. I am just going to ask something. I know that you can add a skill when a certain piece of armor/weapon is equipped, but that's just a single requirement. Is it possible to have multiple requirements in order to obtain a skill? If so, how?

A great example would be this:

Actor A is a dual-wielder.
Let's say Skill A can only be learned by Actor A if:
1. Actor A's level is 99
2. Actor must equip either Weapon A, Weapon B, Weapon C, Weapon D, Weapon E or Weapon F on both his weapon slots. (Weapon A combined with a different weapon is invalid)
3. Actor A must have Helmet A, Armor A and Accesory A equipped (it must be a complete set)

If any of these three are not met, Skill A will not appear on Actor A's  skill set, if it does, the skill will be usable. However, if the skill is already learned and then let's say, Actor A changed a piece of armor or weapon, the skill will disappear to the skill list and will only reappear if the requirements are again met.

Try to use Tsukihime's Learning Conditions (or something titled like that)... or you can also utilize scripts that allow you to run common events or rgss3 codes during equip and unequip of equipments (Hime has one for common events, I have one for rgss3 codes)

There are scripts that can do this, but some of your conditions are not possible without scripts.

Depending on which script you use you'll have different options on how to create the conditions.

Best would be to search and compare the scripts on the master script list.

Easiest way I can think of is to use feature conditions.

And then just make your condition whatever you wrote up there.

Feature met? Skill added + usable.

Not met? Skill disappears.

Thanks for the quick response. I'm going to look upon the script then. :)

EDIT: How about when the skill's requirement is done in battle?

Say...
Actor A uses Skill A

Actor B uses Skill B

Actor C uses Skill C

Actor D uses Skill D

If those requirements are met, instead of firing all four skills, party leader uses Skill E, all the rest does nothing, like it's a 4-man attack with all 4 skills as component.

I've moved this thread to RGSS3 Script Requests. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

RGSSx Scripts in Development is a forum for YOUR scripts that YOU are developing. Not where you ask if scripts exist.

You'd probably use a skill combo script for that, we have some though I don't know if there is one that supports a 4-skill combo...

It's far different than the original request/query (since it's not really for skill requirements to learn but more of an in-battle skill combo), and would be better if separated into it's own thread.

Point taken. Should post another thread for that... And now I know where to put it. Oh well... Case closed. Will ask Tsukihime about her feature conditions script if I need some assistance in it. Thanks. :3
