Is there a way that I could make it use the item's color from your weapon/armor randomization script, from its rarity?

Also, when I use multi line, the second line gets moved under the top line and has the bottom chopped off. Like in the attachment. I increased my game's display size, I'm sure that has something to do with it.

I've fiddled with every line in your script and nothing seems to correct it. I think the size of the "message box" needs to be bigger. I've no idea how to fix it.

Updated the pastebin! While you have W/A Randomization as well, Sleek Item Popup will use the color from it (if any) on it's popups.


And the multiline problem has been rectified! Let's all rejoice! Whee.

Make sure you got the newest version of the script from the paste bin (v1.6.3). The option is in the customization section under the affixes. (The option is in the script Weapon/Armor Randomization, not the Sleek Item Popup script)

Oh, well I did misunderstand then. I thought you meant this script. LOL! Well that fix for the yanflys menu work so thank you much for that!

Hey! Awesome script! Just what i'm searching for. But there's one error. It appears ONLY the chests, which are on the side of the map. It says

"Script 'Sleek Item Pop Up' line 95: ZeroDivisionError occurred

divided by 0"


I think it goes away if i enlarge the map, but there's A LOT OF WORK to start moving whole big map, if i want get empty space on the right and up of the map...

Oops, my bad.. : / I don't have icon of that item, which is was in there. Now it works :)

But yeah,

Still one question: Can i change the place where the text and icon appears? It's little bit too low for me. If i could, where?

You can edit line 85, changing the number 80 as you see fit to alter the y of the popup.

Ah, thank you ^^ It din't change at first when i tried, but i set the PU_SINGLE_LINE true, so now it works! Thanks! ^^

Hey there! I love your script. Though I has a question.

I'm a noob a scripting (trying to learn though) and I just wanted to know how I change the sound effects. In particular, I think the add item sound effect is awesome, but when it takes an item away i'd rather the sound effect be  the equip2 sound effect.

Sorry if this is a noob question.

Yeah, Vlue tends to do that. ;)

One minor issue I've run into with the latest version, the icon appears to be slightly cut off at the bottom in single-line mode. If I change its position on (I believe) line 156 to move it up a couple pixels, it starts getting cut off at the top, and, as it is right now, there's no way to display the full icon. Also, how would I adjust its X position without cutting it off on that side (I'd like to up the gap slightly between the icon and text)? Just adjust the X value on the same line?

Updated the pastebin to fix the icon clipping. I was going the wrong way in setting the height.


If you wanted to increase the gap between the icon and text, just adjust the width of the popup on line 112, increasing the number 48, and then go to line 156 and change the x value there (the 24) to whatever you want.

Looks like it moves the text, rather than the icon, so if I move it more than a couple pixels, it starts to overlap the +/- quantity part of the popup. Which lines adjust the position of that?

Hi Vlue, I was referenced that u do request and or commission. I have a request if u don't mind modifying a single script for me to add a feature that I would like to see in game. Of course I will pay for ur work so just let me know. What I'm asking to be modified is schala battle system which a demo can be DL here http://www.atelier-rgss.com/Schala/Manual.htm

What I want to be added is a pre battle pose where actors will show an intro pose before battle starts. And when battle starts, have actors use different graphics for idling or waiting for commands cuz by default actors are just standing in position with step animation on. It looks rather boring if u know what I mean. And lastly, can u make critical hits show different graphics or pose? Ok vlue that's about sums my request. Let me know if u can do this :)

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
