Sleep curing death

I am new to RPG Maker series and am working on my first game. I was disapointed to see that when I slept the inn effect (recover all specifically) was working too well.


The inn's effect is curing ALL status ailments as well. Is there a way for me to program which status ailments the cure would effect or disable the curing of them and just allow the inn effect to cure the HP/MP of non KO'd characters? Most of the status ailments I can see being cured by a "good nights rest" but who ever heard of a nights rest curing the killed status?


Any help on this would be appreciated.

I never think when the party members fall in battle that they are "dead", just knocked out.


The whole story would be a mess if you could just bring your characters back to life forever.

I agree with Qeo but since you don't you could use the change hp/mp/states commands for your inns instead, each of which has an option for 'entire party'. It'll be a bit cumbersome the first time through but once you go through and decide which states you want healed and have it all down you can just copy/paste that into any future inn events so it's not really that much more work than simply using recover all.

so hopefully tomorrow i get to go home from the hospital i've been here for 5 days already and it's driving me mad. I miss my family like crazy but at least I get to use my own toiletries and my own clothes. My mom is coming to visit soon i can't wait to see her cause i miss her the most. :kaojoy:

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
