Hello everyone,

About a year ago I have mentioned that I am in need of help and didn't know where to post, but since then I have solved a lot of the problems that I was facing. Now though, I still am facing a few problems though one in particular is still bugging me which I will now get into. During a few play tests I get a lot of them commenting on the scroll text speed being too fast, but it's already set to 1 as the lowest setting. I saw this thread and thought it would help, but the link Galv had provided is no longer accessible.

This thread: http://www.rpgmakercentral.com/topic/14228-slow-down-speed-on-show-scrolling-text/

After this thread I pretty much searched everywhere and tried a couple of scripts that I could still get a hold of and even those don't quite work. I've Is there any way I can slow down the scroll text speed?

Also if this thread is posted on the wrong section please let me know.

1 should be really slow for scrolling text. Check and see if the players are holding down SHIFT, as that tends to make it go faster. Also see what specs they have on their computer, it might be something to do with their display driver and monitor specs.

No, they said they haven't been holding down shift and their computer specs doesn't seem to be the issue since everything is running fine.
I have also decided on a vocal narrative to follow along with the prologue of the game during the scroll text, but the scroll text was over before the voice recording was able to finish with the narrative.

As you can see here, the voice recording started way early and there was even a lag during the scroll text scene and yet still finished before the recording could.

It can still be the specs. There is an issue with MV where the 144hz monitors run at 144 frames a second in some places, so if they have a 144 hz monitor, the same issue might be arising. Hence why I asked for the specs.

Ah I see.. Well, this one's from VX Ace so maybe something could still be wrong or is it something different entirely?

No idea, but since MV and ACE use a lot of similar code, it could be. Hence why the inquiry into monitor and video graphic specs on those reporting it.

Man, this is a lot more trouble than I thought. I want to keep the vocal narrative in there, I really don't want omit it.

No one would know if there would be a script or something that would slow down scroll text below 1 for RMVX Ace? I don't quite know how to make adjustments on my computer if there's way to do that without a script. I really am stumped on this one.

Yay, now back in action Happy Christmas time, coming back!

Back in action to develop the indie game that has been long overdue... Final Fallacy. A game that keeps on giving! The development never ends as the developer thinks to be the smart cookie by coming back and beginning by saying... "Oh bother, this indie game has been long overdue..." How could one resist such? No-one c
So I was playing with filters and this looked interesting...

Versus the normal look...

Kind of gives a very different feel. :LZSexcite:
To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
