Smart Pathfinding, event flee from player

Hello all!

I was wondering if someone could create a smart path finding script that worked to have an event actively flee the player! This would work well with my randomly spawning "treasure goblins" (a la Diablo 3)! 

So basically how it works is that I would randomly spawn a "treasure goblin" that would actively flee the player. The treasure goblin is an event that does not want to be caught by the player. If the player catches the treasure goblin he gives the player treasure! He is not santa clause, he doe not want to give you anything!

​Shaz has created an excellent smart path finder script that I have used for my "Death Spawn Event". Death will actively pursue you so that he can kill you upon contact. What I am looking for is very similar except that the treasure goblin will actively flee the player.

You can easily do this with probably any smart pathfinding plugin, just make the character move towards a distant position.

Well, I would have to make the treasure goblin actively be aware of the players current position so that they can actively change their destination on the fly.

Given a maze like environment, how can I have the fleeing event determine the best path away (or distant destination) from the player?

I am already utilizing Shaz's smart path finding script and even Shaz has stated to me that this would be a challenge and that I should post a request here... so I believe.... this is not an easy task...

For a maze, you'll probably need something made with your maze in mind. I don't think there's any way to make a plugin that would automatically work on any map. You will need to make the event change it's destination on the fly no matter if you do it with events or plugins.

Yeah, thats what I am looking for. 

I am making a dungeon with an infinite amount of levels. I would love to code the event much like the rest of my events on every map... I have death randomly spawning and chasing down the player. Now I need a script that will help with with my randomly spawning Treasure Goblin.

The plugin should work on any given map.

I made a work around that does the job decently. However its not perfect and a "smart pathfinding fleeing" plugin would be awesome!
