EVENT
Specific Characters
In this event requesters can give reference for any original character from one of their projects and I will make ONE of the following things, picked by you:
a) a faceset, b) a bust, or c) a spritesheet.​

What makes this special?
Normally I only allow general requests(so specific characters would not be allowed), but for this event you can give specific reference to your original character.
All finished pieces will be shown to the public, but if you request it you may have it so it can’t be USED publicly(meaning only I and you have permission to use it).
If you'd like to keep this more private you can send me your request through PM.
What about normal non-event requests?
Don't worry those are also open right now. Just make sure to use the normal request form instead of the event one.

• Do not send your original request post through PM, if you'd like to add to it with paragraphs of detail either edit that first post or write in that post that you've sent me a PM. The PM should be titled "SA Workshop Request Extra Info : [The gist of your request here. Ex: Pink Slime]".
• Any requests that I make for you will be open for public non-commercial and commercial RPG MAKER use. (They will be available on this thread[under COMPLETED REQUESTS] and if they where made for MV, on my MV Resources thread)

• For this event you can send me requests through PM. (Make sure to give a title that mentions the WORKSHOP and/or EVENT)
• Please have a clear description or reference images to what you want your character to look like, this workshop is not meant to design your character for you, it is meant to make artwork of that character.
• Make sure to use the EVENT REQUEST form when requesting for the event. (It’s located just below the regular request form)
• Extra information on the resource types:
  • Busts will be one static image of your character from around the waist up. (You will not receive extra expressions)
  • Facesets will be an image of your character’s face with up to four expressions.
  • Spritesheets will either be a four directional walk cycle or a one directional behavior of your character. (specified by you in the event request form)

RULES/TERMS
I'm available to make art as long as you follow the rules/terms listed below! Make sure to read them carefully!​

Watch out- there’s a whole mountain of rules.
(I've tried organizing them a bit so they're less daunting.)

BEFORE REQUESTING

(General things to take note of):​

• Do not send me a request if you see that my slots are full!
• If you make a request here, please do not also ask for it in another workshop or in the Resource Requests section of the forum. (This is to avoid having both me and another person working on the same resource, this is a waste of my time)
• All completed art pieces will be in PNG format.
• It is up to you to format and name resources so they work with your project. (This includes adding pictures to facesheet/charactersheet/iconsheet/etc.. Every generator is different depending on custom parts you may have in terms of naming)
• I will not show you the progress of your request. (If you want to see how far I am with your request I only work on one slot at a time, the first one. If you are in the first slot there is a progress % that I occasionally update.)
• I have the right to refuse any requests!

(What I will/won't do):​

• I will only do general resources, so nothing specific, and nothing for only your personal use. (These resources will be open for public RPG Maker use. Do not ask for personalized characters or armor; what you can ask for is ex: red front sprite dragon, chef NPC, vintage camera, etc..)
• I will not make anything with explicit mature content. (Such as intense gore or partial to full nudity, I'm okay with some blood)
• I will not make artwork in a realistic style. (Mostly because I suck at it)
• I will not make detailed mechanical stuff. (Such as guns, mechs, complicated armor)
• I will not make anything that is copyrighted material. (Such as characters that do not belong to you, and/or art for fan games)
• I will not make edits or art of other people's work unless they give you permission to have me do so. (I will do RTP edits for MV and VX Ace, but you must credit KADOKAWA if you use them)
• I will not reformat any tiles or art for you. (Meaning putting single tiles you found into a usable format for your RPG Maker engine or anything similar)
• I am open to doing any of the resources I list in the resource types below, but that does not mean I can complete them. Please take in consideration the difficulty level that I assign to each resource type and see the key to have an idea of how fast/likely your request will be completed!

WHEN REQUESTING:

• Make sure to follow the Request Format when requesting!
• Only ask for one resource at a time.
• Please do not ask for a resource if it already exists. Make sure to do a search for what you're looking for before making a request.
• Do not send your original request post through PM, if you'd like to add to it with paragraphs of detail either edit that first post or write in that post that you've sent me a PM. The PM should be titled "SA Workshop Request Extra Info : [The gist of your request here. Ex: Pink Slime]".
• You must own a paid copy of the engine you are asking resources for. For RPG Maker MV/VX Ace use only.
• If you use my resources in your game, please link me to where I can download it or where I can see updates/information on it, so I can check it out!
  

TERMS OF USE(For completed resources):

• Any requests that I make for you will be open for public non-commercial and commercial RPG MAKER use. (They will be available on this thread[under COMPLETED REQUESTS] and if they where made for MV, on my MV Resources thread)
  • Some requests(Those that contain RTP edited material) will only be available for MV/VX Ace use. (Check individual terms for each resource or what section they're under)
• Do not re-upload any of my art anywhere!
• Do not claim my work as your own!
• Do not sell edits or non-edited versions of my art!
• You are allowed to create edits, however:
  • Do not post edits of my art. Edits you make are for your own use only! (If they are included in your public game or are included in screenshots of your game that is fine)
    • Exception to this rule: You can share color edits of requests on this thread if you so wish to.
• If you use any of my resources you must credit me in your game credits as SmashArtist. (And if you can, link back to my profile or this page)
• Resources are for RPG Maker use only!!

Resource Type: Face Set

Style/Engine: MV

Chars: Special! A cute pink slime face set that will match with the extra info

Extra Info:

In my project I'm using a *pink* slime as a mascot character. The walking image is a recolor and slightly edited RTP resource that I've done myself. ( I can provide the walking image via PM, or I can edit and add to the post if you prefer. I am willing to share with everyone - but I won't post anything here without your express permission. ) The slight edit is the slime has a curly outcropping on it's head, like the various ghosts from the old Harvy Comics line (think Ghostly Trio in Casper). I've tried and failed horribly at making a "cuter" version of a slime for use in dialogue. (Not that it says much more than "Plopp" or "Gyuuu.")

I don't know how much use there would be for a "cute pink slime," but I kinda don't think I'm the only one with such nutty ideas.

• EXTRA INFO: It will have the usual left/right/down/up directions. The shuttle will be floating as it moves.

Updated Original Post with some extra style choices and a separation between Style and Engine for the request format, as I realize the style you might like may not necessarily be that of the engine you're using.

@Starmage If you want I'm open to trying the DS/FES style since your game appears to be using those resources.

@Thomas Smith Since I've updated the request form, was there a specific or custom style you wanted to match with your game style?
