Will the FSM pack come with the FSM characters?

There are a couple characters included in the sample game, but this is a tileset pack, so the focus is on the tiles.

It's kind of hard to tell but... do these FSM tiles match the MV default tiles?

They have a different color scheme/palette, and are meant to replace the default tiles rather than complement them.

Ok, first ....YAY!! KIDDIES X3 !! Second...and m probably the only one here that dosent know, but what's the big deal with FSM? Don't get me wrong, the tiles look AWESOME, but I read people saying they have been waiting for them, and from the discription it sounds like this is a remake or something. also, how big is the tileset? Do we have a price yet?

It looks very good. And thank god it is finally another tileset for MV. Pretty straightforward. Sneak Peek today, release date five days later. Nice. I wish you would do that with all tilesets.


The child generator is very interesting. It is the only part out of the season pass I am interested in, is there a chance to get it seperatly, so I can buy just DLC4? Or do I have to buy the whole season pass?

They look nice. But it's been what, two months since Medievalungeons was submitted and it still isn't out. : ( I can only make so many forests and mountain areas.

Good god. Lol. I know Degica wants to do other content since the percentage of Medieval users is probably lower than that of anyone making a JRPG style game, but it's really tough to make a decent game without the graphics. xD Those packs really let someone like me that is not a graphics artist create a good game. It might not be very mature to whine about it, but seriously, I would like to move on from forests and mountains and get some dungeons done. I've enough experience and dedication with game design to make a commercial product. My money is burning a hole in my pocket waiting for those resources.

I do. Lol. But those I can wait for. I don't do any kind of enemy encounter design until way later. I usually have an inkling of what I want to do when I'm making a map, but since encounters are all on-map encounters, I can basically add things in as I see fit. But I don't want to get into that here, since this isn't the right board for it.


My displeasure with Degica diminishes somewhat in the face of these great looking DLC resources though. They look pretty good, definitely a good change from the RTP style.

They look nice. But it's been what, two months since Medievalungeons was submitted and it still isn't out. : ( I can only make so many forests and mountain areas. 

I've been waiting on that pack for a while myself. Personally I've been running two projects; it wasn't my intention originally, but with my original project I came to realize I was trying to create two different games at the same time, so I split them into two separate projects.


My main focus is the JRPG style that I already have enough to work with, though the child generator parts will be a welcome addition for the creating of more variety in my NPCs. & a High Fantasy style that I've been slowly working on as time permits & as resource packs are released. The JRPG receives most of my focus currently, & will be the one I release first. While the High Fantasy one will be the second game, that I tinker with a bit as ideas come to me, that don't quite fit with the JRPG game.

@Lunarea, will we have to back up our Generator files to add the Kids to the Generator? I've added/customized a lot in my Generator files and would rather prefer not to have it overwritten.. Thanks for the details in advanced.

You shouldn't have to since the Kids are in another tab, but you might want to backup just incase.

YES!!! I bought the Season Pass pretty late, and I had read some mixed reviews (I honestly really loved the first three) but after seeing what's in store for pass 4... WOW. Generator parts are TOTALLY worth it. That takes some hardcore work. Kudos to all of you developers and artists for making something that is going to be fantastic! Can't wait.

So say I have MV already, if I purchase off steam I could go into my steam folder or wherever it gets downloaded (I rarely use my steam account, so I may need some clearing up on that part) and just put it in the appropriate files for my game?

Did you purchase MV on Steam or through the official store? If you purchased MV on Steam, then yes you would just buy the DLC and download it. If you purchased MV through the official store, I'm not sure how that would work because the DLC isn't available on the official store and you have to have the Steam version of MV to download other products from Steam for it.
