i would totally buy the seasons pass just for the kids dlc, but i just bought GCHPortfolio and I cannot in good conscience buy stuff for a different generator. i know how to make new stuff work in there but would that even be acceptable?

Did you purchase MV on Steam or through the official store? If you purchased MV on Steam, then yes you would just buy the DLC and download it. If you purchased MV through the official store, I'm not sure how that would work because the DLC isn't available on the official store and you have to have the Steam version of MV to download other products from Steam for it.

I purchased it off the official store, I preordered it off there when I first heard about it...this is just wonderful, I wonder if someone knows that i'd do

Since the official store version includes a steam activation at no extra cost, if everything else fails you can simply activate your version on steam and use it there.


That has other advantages as well - I have installed both versions because that lets me work with two different language editors at the same time.

I only use english so there's that. Problem #1 is i'm currently out of a job and looking, so i can't purchase a pass. Either way, once they come out on steam I can just buy the child generator DLC and use it, if I must right?

there was some info that all parts of the pass will be purchasable independently later, but so far only DLC1 has been released independently - so that should be possible, but most likely will take some additional waiting time

@Wookiee420  If the new GCH doesn't support importing MV generator parts then you should ask for your money back, because the old version certainly did.

Actually, now that I look at it again, that date is for the pack. I'm sorry. I don't know when the 4th DLC pack will be released. I thought I read in another thread the artists were still working on the assets, so it may be awhile.

i was asking if it is acceptable to do that not able to do that...also it looks like a kids tab and that the generator is updated, it would be cool if GCHPE was updated with more templates too

Ooooh, because GCH is a separate program from the RM series.  If you're allowed to edit the files then it's fine.  It's the same type of thing as using an image editor to tweak colors and such.

@Archeia the steam page says that the seasons pass is available individually for $10 a piece or 30 for the pack....seeing as i just want children (please dont take that out of context it sounds creepy) will it be available as an individual offer too? After the confusion with the GCH and the new version release i would just love a clear answer

@Wookiee420 currently only the first dlc of the season pass is purchasable as standalone product. DLC 2 and 3 are currently only available with the season pass. I guess 2,3 and 4 wont hit the store as standalone product soon. If i were you i would wait for the next steam sale. I got my season pass with 50% off half a year ago.

That generator DLC really should be one sold standalone and two being sold on this site's store if possible, for one, the season pass has horrific reviews (1.5 stars) and seeing a $29.99 price tag for it does not make a good sell.
