Hey everyone!

I've been making a bit of SNES style royalty free music recently and thought I would share here. I aim to make at least 1 new song a week to upload to my youtube channel. If you do use some of my music, please provide credit to me (word doc with instructions in the download). Also, I love to hear my music in peoples games, so drop me a line if you would like. :D

Download link is in the description of the video.

Thanks, and enjoy the music!
Bert

Hello everyone, got more free music for ya.

This track could work well for a title screen, or a trailer. Better yet, a demo reel, like they used to play if you didn't start the game fast enough. Anyone else remember those? Use it however you see fit, these are just suggestions.

Download link is in the description of the video.

I'm really happy with how this vid turned out btw. Took a lot of scripting. :D

Who doesn't need more village music?
Made a couple of peaceful songs that would work well in any peaceful RPG village. Click the link below the video to get all 3.

Bonus points if you can name the movie that the old man is referencing in this vid:

Ahh Basketball, when I was a kid I laughed so hard at the "Roadkill Caught on Tape" bit. Separate bit, same movie.

I really enjoy your music, what I usually don't see much of are songs for heightened danger, but not a fullblown panic like many RPG Maker danger songs have. Something tense, without the heart attack added on, if I'm making any sense. :LZSwink:

I suppose that would be my own request, if you're thinking about what to do next.

Haha awesome, glad someone got the reference. I love Basketball, so many classic moments. I still quote the "If you guys rip on me 15 or 16 more times...I'm outta here!" bit. :LZSlol:

Thanks for listening, and also thank you for the suggestion. That is definitely a scenario I haven't thought of. I'll keep it in mind for one of the next songs.

This song sounds like Country....Donkey Kong Country.
Got the free tune of the week posted. It should work great for forests or any kind of earthy dungeon location. (Just a couple suggestions, use it how you would like).

This one definitely took on some DKC vibes, even though that wasn't my initial intention. :LZSlol:

Another village tune, on the house!
This village bundle is still available for those in need. This song is bundled along with 2 other tracks, (including the village theme posted above).

It's getting cold in here, so layer up your clothes!
...That may be the worst opening tag I've done yet. But it will suffice I guess. :p
Use this track where ever you see fit, could work great for snowy areas or dungeons.

That moment when your main character starts to question why they are killing so many random creatures...
The characters in these vids are becoming more and more self aware. I'll have to watch out for that in the future. Got another track that works great in dungeons! I really like how this one turned out. Enjoy!

That track could work as "Foreboding" or "Just Before The Attack" similar to something SMT would do. I really like the newest addition to your thread!

Thank you! I really liked how it turned out as well. Also that is a great suggestion for how to use the tune.

Thanks again for listening! :LZScheeze:

Time for a good ol' fashioned tournament arc!
One of my favorite bits from old rpgs was the inevitable tournament/arena portion of the game. Whether it was part of the main story line or a side quest, it was always great to see all the competitors. Thought I would write a track in that vein. Could also be great for running from left to right while destroying a bunch of robots!

Every good RPG needs a couple scenes to lighten the mood.
And along with that you need some lighthearted music. Check out this fun little track I did and the shenanigans that played out with it. Could also work well was a character or shop theme!

Feel a very Genesis vibe from the latest track. Not enough "quirky" tunes that aren't just a bunch of random dog sound effects thrown in; I like it, yo.

Hey thanks! One day I'll get around to making some really authentic Genesis tunes, but I'm glad this one is giving off the vibe in the meantime. :LZSlol:

Blast from the past or glimpse of the future?
Got something a little different for you this week, but I think you will enjoy it. What kind of shenanigans has the gang gotten themselves into this time? :LZScheeze:

I always told my DA fans how much I hate slot machines. They're fine in games as a risk-and-reward system. But when you're spending REAL MONEY in a Vegas casino to try and hit the jackpot (which very, very few people will), it can really hurt your budget. Gambling is a bad habit, and I don't like wasting my money on a slim chance. Go to Vegas for the experience, not the jackpot.
Took the kids to a corn maze. They gave us a map and had lights at certain points in the maze. Not overwhelming... or underwhelming... just... whelming.
