Good Morning / Day / Afternoon / Evening everyone.

I have a request for a certain kind of snippet

By default, counter attacks don't seem to show any animation, not even the actor's attack animaton.

So I would like the following:

1. Showing battle animations for counterattacks

If this isn't too difficult I would really appreciate the help

This worked in my few test battles but I'm not completely satisfied: there might issues with dual wielding, etc. If other battle system modifications are used search for def invoke_counter_attack to check if they're compatible (no results).
Ruby:
class Scene_Battle
  def invoke_counter_attack(target, item)
    @log_window.display_counter(target, item)
    attack_skill = $data_skills[target.attack_skill_id]

    target, @subject = @subject, target
    show_animation([target], attack_skill.animation_id)
    target, @subject = @subject, target

    @subject.item_apply(target, attack_skill)
    refresh_status
    @log_window.display_action_results(@subject, attack_skill)
  end
end

on a default battle system with no scripts on it... it works just fine... I'm using the default battle system with a lot of different scripts.... still doesn't work. one of the scripts must be causing the issue....

The other request I made with Tsuki's battle reaction sounds more feasable, as then using probabilities I can create a counterattack state that functions like I wanted it to.

I decided to try to make a mucha-styled artwork, and by now I've sunk more time in studies and sketches than I usually do in the whole thing. Fingers crossed it's worth it!
