SO ...how do i make cutescenes?

OKAY,s o i'm new at this and i think i'm asking the right questions....but not in the right WAY.  

so...I'm new at this and eve though i've watched tutorial after tutorial but i all i want. is to make a cut scene that kinda turns INTO my game title screen. it stars with a top view of the house. and the camera scrolls down enough that the door is in the center of the screen. (haven't figured out that either)  then the door opens and out comes the protagonist. she walks down 3 steps, moves tot he lower left twice, and over to the left again 4 times to then sit on a bench. the scene would then kinda stop there, the npcs are moving and she just sits on the bench with her animated feet and  the camera moves so taht shes off tot he left a bit and then the options kinda fade into he screen that way. playing music and bird sounds.  BUT HOW DO I DO ANY OF THIS?!

You'll need a plugin like Hime's Pre-Title Events where you specify the map you want to start the cutscene on. On that map, you can simply create one autorun event to control the entire cutscene (there is the Event Command "Scroll Map" on the second tab to move the camera). At the end of the cutscene, you can either go to a "default" title screen by simply using the Event Command "Return to Title Screen" or you can event your own title screen on the same map. hehe, i'm already well aware of echos work. and i had tried following this SAME tutorial to try and get my intro thingy goign but i was still left a bit..... out there. its a VERY large map and getting it t do what i want is hard to say the least and i don't know what i'm doing with ANY of it. i cant even get the character to sit and PLAY her feet animation, or walk OUT of the door.

i don't want her to APPEAR in front of the door. i want her to walk OUT of the door onto the front porch. the character would be shown exiting the door animation and then starting her walk, but i cant even get the door animation for that to work either. and i don't know why. how do i do this?  i would like this information because when she exits rooms, i want the doors to animate with her exiting as much as i would her entering.

For that, I think you'd need a tileset just for this intro map, so that you can make the house 's wall be on top of your character, hiding her but not blocking her way.


For the door movement, you can copy the one from the automatic event generator, but ading a "Through" at the end so the character in the cutscene can walk down through it.

for now i think i figured it out, thanks to the AMAZING help of miss lady berserk!

alright. good news is, i have the map and character working. the bad news is, i cant seem to get the map scrolling to do what i want. 

I want the fade in to be significantly slower and i also want to make the scrolling map stop  to eventually puase whenever she does and continue moveing when she does. how do i do this? its supposed to be a cutscene and i'm not sure how to go about it.

Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
