They don't always do big events like this but over all the community is great year round. There are also regular resource staff releases every couple of months or so and you can even contribute as a guest:
You can also find people giving away extra steam keys they don't need and there are resources a plenty to be found in resource threads. There are also lots of great games to play in the completed games section.
As you spend more time here you're sure to have a blast and will likely come to think of this place as sort of a second online family.
Yep, you joined at the right moment, and may I say, you picked the best team, join us, and spread the word: recruit, coerce, bribe, tempt, all for the greater evil!
I see you're still getting familiar with how the forums work. For instance, you accidentally joined the wrong team. I can give you a hand to fix that, if you like
Just beat the last of us 2 last night and starting jedi: fallen order right now, both use unreal engine & when I say i knew 80% of jedi's buttons right away because they were the same buttons as TLOU2 its ridiculous, even the same narrow hallway crawl and barely-made-it jump they do. Unreal Engine is just big budget RPG Maker the way they make games nearly identical at its core lol.
