So the worst movie to ever exist came out.
I saw it ironically, and my brain cells died, along with my time.
Don't watch it ironically, it's not even so bad it's good.
What did you guys think of it?
To me it sounded like a hollywood placeholder for ads and hollywood propaganda.

It's one of those ideas that made me think "Why does this exist?" I love seeing movies that have non-human heroes, but this was not what I had in mind. Still, I haven't seen it, but I haven't heard anything good about it. I just want to ask...

There is a movie about emoticons now? Like literally a movie about the stupid little telephone pictographs that are slowly turning the written language into a strictly academic and otherwise dead art form? I don't know anything about it whatsoever, since I don't have television service or commercials...all I'll say is that I really hate American pop culture right now; it needs to die in a fire for all of the ****ty, horrid ideas it's been implanting in the minds of impressionable young minds in recent years.

I sort of just furrowed my brow in confusion (first time I'd heard of them), and he replied, "Two fidget spinners," pulled them out, and let them spin. I discovered that day that I'm "old."

What in the [blasphemous expletive] hell? Take a toy for kids with attention difficulties, make it a game and throw in tobacco/drug use references for the heck of it, (be sure to add that you neither condone or support said references to alleviate moral culpability under the law) profit. I need to stop checking replies to this thread, the revelations are depressing me.

There's also a game called Spinners vs Monsters. The cover art is of the most generic characters you'll ever see, with the main character dabbing with a fidget spinner.
Will hollywood adopt this idea...if so, better than Emoji Movie I guess.

Yeah, my kids want to see this movie. And that's just a big ol' nope. Not remotely wasting my money on such a thing.

I took my son to see it... It was actually not that bad. User reviews on Rotten Tomatoes put it at 47%. There was some decent humor but I was more impressed with the message to children that it told.

Someone will always bully you for who you are. Other people will accept you for it. The message was to be happy you have to accept yourself for who you are and not make yourself misery by conforming to what society tells you that you are supposed to be.

LOL, there is no way I'm watching that piece of garbage. Like, the premise was bad, the message was decent but generic as heck, and whenever it's explained to me, I have one of two reactions: "Huh?" or, "So... I've seen this before, without even watching it." Fidget spinners are a rant in themselves. If they have an actual movie about that, I'm just done.

Sadly this movie is doing well in the Box office. Not great, but it could potentially break even.
I don't often hope for movies to fail, but I have to make an exception for this. Maybe everyone who planned to see the movie already has.

It's funny that half of these people watching it are just watching it ironically, little did they know they're playing into the greedy businessmen's tricks.
