So what's the standard that most people use for parallax mapping layers now?

I've been using Galv's Layer Graphics for my parallax maps for a while now, but I run into little bugs with it every once in a while and he said he isn't supporting that plugin anymore.

What plugin would people recommend for doing parallax maps besides his? Ideally one that plays well with Yanfly's plugins. Thanks!

(Note: I'm not looking for help/support on any specific plugin, but suggestions for which ones to use)

Orange Overlay by Hudell is what I use. The link is here.

Wow! Bugs with galv layer? I used this a lot. With most all plugins yanfly. Maybe the position you pit in the plugin manager?
I used it only in map note tags.
By the way, i will suggest orange overlay too.

I also use Galv's. I think it's great. What problems are you having with it? The only problem I've found is that some of the layers can get offset by 1 pixel for some reason when the camera is moving.

The most common one I ran into was in some larger maps, the base layer would suddenly disappear when I walked to certain coordinates.

Like, I use RTP water tiles and some base terrain in the regular tileset underneath my parallax. Occasionally I'll be walking on a map and all of a sudden my lowest-tiered parallax layer will just vanish and I'll be left walking on plain ol' RTP tiles and some of my upper parallax layers.

Are the parallax images the correct size for the map?

I assume they're the correct size since everything lines up when the layer doesn't disappear. Generally in my map-making, I'm able to take the exported map image from RMMV and change it to 200% to line-up in photoshop. My grids are set for 48x48 tiles, just like original RTP assets as well.

I could try posting a video or something to demonstrate the bug, but then this thread would in fact change to being about plugin support instead of just plugin suggestions, haha.

To whom ever person or persons who re-did the DS/DS+ asset packs for MV (as in, they are all 48x48, and not just x2 the pixel scale) .... THANK-YOU!!!!!!!!! XwwwwX
