And lastly, there is an attack called "Last Stand" that I would like to be able to implement that deals high damage when in a critical state of health. Though whether I would like this to be passive or not is yet undetermined.

What plugins, if any, do you have installed? Although this is most likely solvable with the damage formula using

"a.hp <= a.mhp * x ? formula * y : formula"

where x is a % in decimal value and y is a numeric multiplier.

That's the thing. I don't have any installed because I have no idea how they work. And frankly... the formula's fly right over my head. I am quite useless, I'm afraid, when it comes to complications like this. As much as I have big ideas... heh.

Okay uhm... let me try to understand the formula... Erm... okay, I have no idea what that means or how it's supposed to work.

I am so sorry... I wish I was better with this sort of thing, then I could accept your help a little easier.

Let me break it up for you then:

a.hp <= a.mhp * 0.3 ?
This checks if the user's current HP level is less than or equal to 30% of their maximum

? (a.atk * 4 - b.def * 2) * 3 : (a.atk * 4 - b.def * 2)
After the check is successful it does the normal formula at 3 times the damage, else it does just regular damage.
