I am not entirely sure if this is the right place to put this, but ok....

I am making a moving event, which is supposed to say something after it has moved. But I want it to be AFTER it has moved, not as it is actually MOVING.
There is a check box called "Wait for Completion", but I can't click it. Does anybody know how to make that box work? It would be really helpful!!

This problem has been solved, thanks to everyone who helped me :)

yes, it is the wrong place - tutorials is for tutorials you wrote to explain things to others. And that's why your topic was automatically hidden - to ensure the quality of the tutorials posted here.

I've moved this thread to MV Support. Please be sure to post your threads in the correct forum next time. Thank you.

Best guess is that you're currently using autonomous movement - that automatically loops and can never wait.

That box is active if you're using the set move route event command, and means that the other event commands will not happen before the move route is completed.

I suggest you follow the linkt to the starting point in my signature, it leads to the basic tutorials that will explain where and when the event commands are used

Thanks! I think it was a different "system" on this forum before, so I'm not sure what forums there are. I guess I just have to find out what goes where :)

The forums are all the same as they were on the previous version.  If you want to ask a "how do I ..." type question and it's not about scripts (the scripts you see when you press F11 or look at the .js files for MV), it goes into the Support forum for the appropriate version of the engine.

@Shaz oh... I guess I didn't know which forums that were here before either... I'll look properly at the forums before I post anything else :)

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
