Hello all. This is my first time posting.
Thus far I have been able to find everything I need by searching, but I've hit a wall on this one.
What I want is a simple way that let's me have 9 enemies at once.
My setup is similar to the original Final Fantasy on NES.
Is there anything that already does that or do I need to make a new plugin?
Thanks in advance for any help. :)

Will do!
Thanks everyone.

I probably should mention that I'm using a bunch of Yanfly plugins.
In particular the BattleCore and several extensions for it.

I had looked into Hime's plugin, but that doesn't do what I'm looking for.
It's great for other effects. I'm keeping a copy of it for later.

Not having any luck with the ICF-Soft plugins.
When I add the event condition and concatenate comments into the troop's Battle Events I get this TypeError:
Cannot set property 'Checking' of Undefined.

I can't seem to get TroopUnlimited to work.
It seems to be exactly what I want.
If I'm understanding the instructions I should be able to just add '\ add[1] #' to the troop name.
Am I missing something?

Don't leave a space between the backslash and "add". Let's say you have two troops: #1 has three slimes and #2 has three rats. If you wanted the second troop to actually be six rats and three slimes, try naming the troop as follows:
Code:
\add[1] \add[2]
This basically tells the plugin: "add troop #1 and troop #2 to this troop". =)

Fantastic! It works great. And it works perfectly with Rexal's RandomEnemies plugin.
Thanks a ton for clearing it up for me, Caethryil! :3

How would I make the extra enemies actually have some space between the originals?

If you mean how they're arranged on-screen, the plugin does not accommodate for that (layouts are preserved). A simple workaround is to just make a few more troops with compatible positions. Alternatively there are other plugins available (e.g. Yanfly's Row Formation) that offer automatic positioning of enemies on-screen.

Couple hours of work. Might use in my game as a secret find or something. Not sure. Fancy though no? :D
Holy stink, where have I been? Well, I started my temporary job this week. So less time to spend on game design... :(
Cartoonier cloud cover that better fits the art style, as well as (slightly) improved blending/fading... fading clouds when there are larger patterns is still somewhat abrupt for some reason.
Do you Find Tilesetting or Looking for Tilesets/Plugins more fun? Personally I like making my tileset for my Game (Cretaceous Park TM) xD
How many parameters is 'too many'??
